Product description
Termaflex TX4200 is a rubber and glass filled, high viscosity, single component, air dry waterbased fast dry acrylic latex asphalt crack filler. The product is specifically formulated to act as a replacement for asphalt crack fillers. Termaflex TX4200 represents a dramatic improvement in the repair and coating of driveways,parking lots and other asphalt surfaces. It is extremely resistant to virtually all forms of environmental attack, including rain, snow, summer heat and wear from vehicle and pedestrian traffic. The Termaflex TX4200 has excellent UV resistance, color retention, flexibility, and good corrosion resistance. Apply direct to existing Asphalt and concrete cracks.

 

Uses
Termaflex TX4200 may be used to seal cracks tightly adhere contaminate free aspalt and concrete.Termaflex TX4200 can be sprayed, poured into or troweled over asphalt and
concrete cracks. It effectively fills cracks, fissures and depressions on asphaltic and concrete surfaces without subsequent cracking as the rubber glass matrix effectively fills cracks. Large depressions over 1/2 inch deep can be easily repaired with Termaflex TX4200 crack filler.
Termaflex TX4200 can also be applied as a butter coat on roofs, swimming pools and patios protecting and extending the life of eroding surfaces and weather proofing most substrates from environmental damage.In addition application may take place on almost all roofing materials including prepared metal, foam, asphalt, rubber and existing in place acrylic roof coating systems.

Surface preparation
All areas should be thoughly pressure washed to remove all contaminates from the cracks to be sealed. All cracks should be cleaned out and blown dry before crack filling begins.  

Application
The Termaflex TX4200 should be applied only when the air and product temperature is between ºF to 100ºF unless step are taken to slow the dry if above 100ºF and the surface has been properly prepared. The surface temperature should not exceed 125°F during application.  

Application equipment
Maybe applied with specialized airless equipment, troweled, or poured. 

Compatible systems
Termaflex TX4200 can be topcoated with Termaflex TX4100, Termaqua TA6100 Cool Roof Coating or conventional latex coatings to match most architectural colors


 

Thinning
Not required. If desired reduce maximum of 15% by volume with Clean Deionized Water if you wish to pour the caulk. Add small percentages at a time to reach pouring consistancey.Note this will slow the curing process.

Shelf life
