FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Montreal, Quebec - (December 2000) Termarust Technologies, a leader in corrosion control successfully concluded the strict five (5) year warranty inspection period on the High Level Bridge in Edmonton, Alberta. The CN Rail, High Level Bridge in Edmonton Alberta, with a lower 2 lane road deck and upper single track rail deck, was constructed between 1910 and 1913. In 1995 the rehabilitation of the bridge was budgeted at $19.9M and Termarust Technologies of Quebec was chosen as the coating supplier. Approximately 5 tons of old lead paint was removed and 80,000 litres of Termarust 2000 Series (RAVCS®) Coatings was applied over 1MM square feet of surface area on the 2,460 foot bridge. The Termarust 2000 Series (RAVCS®) Coating carried a five (5) year warranty against coating failure and joint leakage. In December 2000, the five year warranty period on the High Level Bridge expired and the Termarust 2000 Series (RAVCS®) coating system met all the warranty conditions after the final inspection.
