Four Penstock pipes that feed water to turbines in the powerhouse.
Length: 540-feet Diameter: 22-feet Total: 136,080 sq. feet

To preserve the structure and existing coating for 25-years.

Surface Preparation: Methods, degree of cleaning, profile:
5,000 PSI High Pressure water wash to a SSPC SP12 WJ4
Coating application methods, equipment:
Airless spray and brush
Coating system, number of coats, dry film thickness per coat, etc.:
Spot prime 5 mils DFT of Termarust 2100 (RAVCS®) Primer/Topcoat on bare metal and rusted surfaces.
An overcoat of 5 8 mils DFT Termarust 2100 (RAVCS®) Primer/Topcoat, color matched.
Safety and Environmental Protection Measures:
Environment around the project had to be protected from contamination.
Unusual Job conditions:
Fall Prevention System. Contain all water and filter, four-week duration.
Evidence of good performance:
Overcoating job secured by a five-year warranty that includes pack rusted joints and connections.
